Tanzania Trip Preparation Update!

It's January 2, 2011 and all is coming together!
I am overwhelmed by the outpouring of support to this volunteer opportunity to help AIDS patients in Tanzania. Over $1400 was donated as of 12/31/10, which covers in full the 2 week training for patient care, and many donations have been received to help fund clinics that I will hold in the weeks after the training!
Four lovely handmade prayer flags were donated to place in Tanzania at the AIDS clinics by Sarah Haskell or York, Maine, whose work, "Woven Voices: Messages from the Heart"can be viewed and contributed to at www.wovenvoices @blogspot.com.
Heartwarming letters of support for this work have come with donations, which I will post here to share the inspiration!

  4. Human beings are part physical, part mystery (we have a soul which mystics of all ages have been trying to tune us into). No one is denying that drugs can be effective. Invariably they have side effects that must be monitored and dealt with. Homeopathy treats the "mystery", and often in turn, the physical. Why would you deny one form of medicine over the other?
